I have decided to write my son’s curriculum for next year and then add to it with other sources. The adding to it part is easy, the actual writing is proving harder. The curriculum text will be the Bible. The struggle I find I’m having is how do I want it to look and how to find the individual text that I will be using. It’s not that I don’t have resources to find the text within the Bible. It’s more that my brain seems to go on overload and just about shuts down trying to figure out what text I want to use for a particular subject and how I want to have my son go about studying that particular passage. I think I need to do a little more brainstorming on how to solve that little problem that is appearing huge right now.
My goal is to have the curriculum written by June so that I have time to check it over and make any corrections before fall. I have about 3 months to get it written in and I already know that I have another writing project for April. Now time to see what my brain can come up with and see about getting the project completed in the next 3 months.
